About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Geriatric Nursing Assistant to join our team at IntelyCare. As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents in Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), and other post-acute settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver compassionate nursing care to residents, including assistance with personal hygiene, feeding, mobility, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Observe and report any changes in residents' health and well-being to supervising staff
  • Provide a clean and safe environment by cleaning surfaces, changing linens, and removing hazards
  • Transport residents to and from their beds, wheelchairs, and other locations within the facility
  • Offer companionship and support to residents, promoting their sense of dignity and well-being
  • Communicate effectively with visitors, family members, and staff throughout shifts
Requirements
  • Current Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification
  • Knowledge of medical terms and nursing care procedures
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
