Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at Luminis Health. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to patients, including personal hygiene, comfort measures, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Assist with patient admission, discharge, and transfer processes.
  • Participate in patient care activities, such as vital sign collection, intake and output monitoring, and data collection.
  • Transport patients and medications safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including restocking supplies and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited registered nursing program.
  • CNA certification through the MD Board of Nursing.
  • American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS certification.

Working Conditions:

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
