Role Responsibilities:
- Design individualized care plans with clear, measurable objectives tailored to each patient's unique requirements.
- Participate in treatment planning by providing insights to nursing and program teams to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
- Guide nursing staff in conducting activity-based groups.
- Engage in treatment team meetings, contributing to the development of patients' Activity Therapy objectives.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Licensure or certification as mandated by state regulations.
- CPR and CPI Certification required within the first month of employment.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in a psychiatric healthcare setting, particularly with patients dealing with substance use disorders, dual diagnoses, psychiatric conditions, and geriatric care is advantageous.
