About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled technician to contribute to the efficient operation of our equipment and facilities.


Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:


  1. Carrying out routine inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  2. Performing scheduled maintenance tasks to maintain optimal equipment performance.
  3. Responding promptly to emergency breakdowns and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
  4. Working closely with the engineering team to understand equipment operation and maintenance requirements.
  5. Recording all maintenance activities for future reference and quality assurance purposes.
  6. Ensuring all safety protocols and procedures are followed during maintenance work.
  7. Supporting the installation of new equipment and machinery.
  8. Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry advancements.
  9. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and maintenance techniques.


Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:


  1. At least 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a related field.
  2. A deep understanding of preventive maintenance principles and practices.
  3. Proficiency in operating a range of hand and power tools.
  4. Extensive experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  6. The ability to function effectively under pressure and manage crisis situations efficiently.
  7. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with excellent communication abilities.
  8. A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field is highly desirable.
  9. Certifications in relevant areas are an asset.
  10. The flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, when necessary.
