In this Plant Maintenance Technician role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing complex automation and mechanical equipment, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair automated systems and mechanical equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent downtime and optimize performance.
- Install and repair power transmission systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, ductwork, machine structure, guarding, indexers, cam systems, valves, pulleys, gearboxes, belts, conveyor components, couplings, shafts & bearings, and mechanical automation components.
- Rigging and moving equipment as required.
- Able to read and interpret detailed blueprints to perform tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-4 years of Plant Maintenance experience or a Journeyman card.
- High School diploma or equivalent GED.
- Lift material up to 60# with ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to stretch, lift, climb, twist, turn, stand, pull, push, reach, and bend as needed.
- Work in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, possible temperature extremes, dirt, solvents, paper dust, etc.
- Maintain satisfactory record of attendance and conduct.
- Available to work any shift and overtime as needed.
