Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, install, troubleshoot, and repair complex automation and mechanical equipment.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, changeover, and make general repairs to industrial equipment.
- Perform assigned Preventive Maintenance tasks.
- Recondition and rebuild production equipment and machinery.
- Development, installation, and repair of power transmission systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, ductwork, machine structure, guarding, indexers, cam systems, valves, pulleys, gearboxes, belts, conveyor components, couplings, shafts & bearings, and installation, and repair of mechanical automation components of all types.
- Rigging and moving equipment.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints.
- Minimum 3-4 years of Plant Maintenance experience or a Journeyman card.
- High School diploma or equivalent GED.
- Lift material up to 60#.
- Walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Stretch, lift, climb, twist, turn, stand, pull, push, reach, and bend.
- Work in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, possible temperature extremes, dirt, solvents, paper dust, etc.
- Maintain satisfactory record of attendance and conduct.
- Available to work any shift and overtime as needed.
