Job Title: Data Management Specialist

Targa Resources is seeking a highly skilled Data Management Specialist to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the organization, security, and accessibility of all engineering and construction data, drawings, and files.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Job Description:
We are looking for an individual with strong technical and communication skills to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to streamline data management processes, implement best practices, and develop and coordinate training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain company engineering and construction forms, standards, and standard typical drawings.
  • Develop and maintain record management systems, including developing and continuously improving E&C record capture and retention processes.
  • Ensure data is collected in accordance with stakeholder requirements (E&C, ES&H, Enterprise Asset Management, Commercial, Operations, etc.).

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • BS engineering degree or related field from an accredited university.
  • 5 years minimum in natural gas midstream industry, with an understanding of gas gathering, gas processing, transportation, and fractionation.
  • Familiarity with data management tools (e.g. Microsoft SharePoint), database systems, and data visualization platforms (e.g. Microsoft Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify data-related issues and propose effective solutions.
