LPN Medication Care Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled LPN Med Care Manager to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and services to our residents, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Responsibilities:- Medication Administration:
- Administer medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner.
- Review and document medication administration records.
- Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse to ensure accurate medication administration.
- Document and report any medication-related issues or concerns.
- Resident Care:
- Provide individualized care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Conduct Service and Health Updates as directed by the Resident Care Director.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs).
- Risk Management and General Safety:
- Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
- Practice safety procedures at all times, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any accidents or incidents immediately.
- Training and Contributing to Team Success:
- Participate in regular training and education programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the overall engagement and success of the team.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
- Previous experience working with seniors, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in difficult situations.
