Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist I-NBMC Per Diem to join our team at NorthBay Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing radiographic examinations, producing high-quality images, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic examinations in accordance with established protocols and quality control standards.
  • Assist and instruct patients during examinations, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Inspect and clean equipment prior to use, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Report equipment malfunctions and patient complaints to the supervisor, adhering to QA policies.
  • Produce images, burn CDs, and organize paperwork, ensuring accurate and timely completion of requisition data.
  • Collaborate with other modalities and departments as needed, providing exceptional patient care and service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved radiology course.
  • CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) required.
  • Current AHA or equivalent healthcare provider BLS Certification required.
  • Less than one year of experience in general radiology.
