Radiologic Technologist I-NBMC Per Diem

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist I to join our team at NorthBay Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing general radiographic studies, producing high-quality images, and ensuring patient safety and well-being during examinations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic examinations in accordance with established protocols and quality control standards.
- Assist and instruct patients prior to and during examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Evaluate each study to ensure it meets required quality standards and make adjustments as necessary.
- Inspect and clean equipment prior to use, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
- Produce images, burn CDs, and organize paperwork, completing requisition data accurately.
- Assist with clerical duties, including reporting patient complaints and discrepancies.
- Work in other areas of the department, such as the front office, as needed.
- Assist other modalities as time allows and perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved radiology course.
- CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) required.
- Current AHA or equivalent healthcare provider BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Less than one year of experience in general radiology.
