Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Med Surg Intermediate RN to join our team at Saint Luke's Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading by example in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, direct, perform, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room and Inpatient/Telemetry Unit.
  • Collaborate with clinical and front office staff, administration, and other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care and deliver optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness and empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of Acute Care Experience
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross certification
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross certification
  • Registered Nurse licensure
