Job Summary

The Field HSE Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the overall safety and well-being of our workforce and clients. This position is responsible for implementing, educating, and enforcing safety protocols to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the company's commitment to safety and its core values by promoting a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
  • Represent the company at all times with high moral standards, adhering to the company's code of business conduct and ethics.
  • Maintain full compliance with all company, state, federal, and client safety regulations.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop corrective action plans.
  • Conduct field audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement safety training programs for employees and supervisors.
  • Monitor and maintain accountability programs for project safety-related issues.
  • Collaborate with the HSE Director, Business Unit HSE Manager, and Project Manager to develop project safety goals and a written safety action plan.
  • Conduct or schedule training for employees on new hire orientations, client orientations, and other safety-related topics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational or environmental safety and health management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of safety experience in construction or industrial fabrication, with 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.
  • Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement corrective measures.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
