Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Teller to join our team at BECU. As a Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, handling transactions accurately and efficiently, and promoting our credit union's products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to members, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, including cashing checks, making deposits, and processing withdrawals.
  • Promote our credit union's products and services to members, identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell.
  • Uphold the highest standards of performance and information security in all aspects of your role.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve business objectives and goals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
  • Experience in promoting and selling financial products or services a plus.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to financial transactions.
  • Successful completion of in-house teller training program.
  • Proficient math skills, with the ability to process account transactions accurately.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills to ensure professional handling of member concerns.
