Unit Overview:
The A3 Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) at Munson Medical Center is a specialized environment designed to deliver comprehensive care to patients with varying levels of cardiac conditions. This unit is adaptable to the acuity of patients, ranging from critical care to recovery phases.
Unit Specialization:
The CCU comprises 30 beds dedicated to managing both acute and chronic cardiac conditions, including but not limited to:
• STEMI
• Structural heart disease
• Post-cardiac arrest care
• Interventional cardiology
• Advanced heart failure management with assistive devices
• Vascular surgical care
In addition to cardiac cases, the unit also accommodates patients with diverse medical and surgical issues requiring critical and intermediate care interventions.
Qualifications:
• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience, with a preference for 2 years in the cardiac specialty area.
