Outpatient Primary Care Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Primary Care Physician to join our team at Brockton Neighborhood Health Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care services, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care services, assessing, planning, documenting, and evaluating patient needs and treatments.
- Design and implement individualized plans of care, taking into account physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Collaborate with other caregivers to promote patient education and rehabilitation, including mental and physical health.
- Work collaboratively with other physicians, administration, and clinical staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
- Board certification or eligibility in family practice or internal medicine.
- Current Massachusetts licensure and current certifications, where appropriate.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Haitian Creole is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in ambulatory care and/or public health is preferred.
Long hours may be required, including rotating call responsibilities. Potential exposure to patient blood and body fluids. Physical demands require lifting of small pieces of equipment, boxes, and/or patients not to exceed 50 pounds. Frequent standing and walking required. Visual acuity sufficient for frequent reading. Hearing acuity sufficient for holding conversation without assistive devices.
