As a critical component of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate billing and project reconciliation, working closely with internal stakeholders to resolve any open issues.
Key Responsibilities- Complete Billing Process: Meet billing due dates and ensure timely completion of the billing process.
- Prepare and Distribute Invoices: Prepare and distribute invoices internally and externally, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Partner with Finance Team: Collaborate with the Finance Team to assist in timely reconciliation of all activations/projects, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial information.
- Run System Reports: Run system reports and reconcile the reports against final invoices sent to the client to ensure all costs that may be billed are captured.
- Reconcile Credit Card Expenses: Reconcile Pittsburgh Event Services credit card expense weekly, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation.
- Process Expense Reports: Review and process Pittsburgh Team Expense Reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain Accurate Billing Information: Make appropriate changes to existing jobs to maintain accurate billing information.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Finance Team.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Office Products: In-depth experience with Microsoft Excel and Office products, including CRM and Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations.
- Knowledge of Accounting Process and Procedures: Working knowledge of accounting process and procedures, including financial analysis and reporting.
- Education and Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field, preferred.
- Related Experience: 1-3 years of related experience in financial services, accounting, or a related field.
- Communication and Teamwork Skills: Excellent team communication skills, with the ability to work with virtual teams across multiple locations.
- Adaptability and Critical Thinking: Ability to adapt to changing priorities while meeting deadlines, with a critical thinking approach to problem-solving.
