- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, collaborating with support staff to ensure efficient prescription processing in compliance with regulations.
- Manage prescription processing and data entry utilizing advanced pharmacy systems that support clinical decision-making and medication management.
- Work alongside the Clinical Program Team to organize off-site immunization clinics and community outreach initiatives.
- Ensure accurate processing of prescriptions in line with contract guidelines and assist with insurance claims and prior authorizations.
- Support the Pharmacy Manager in inventory management and pharmaceutical ordering.
- Engage with customers by providing counseling and recommendations for over-the-counter products.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain pharmacy standards.
- Supervise pharmacy support staff, assigning roles and managing workflow to enhance customer service.
- Communicate effectively with the Pharmacy Manager and team regarding promotional programs and health offerings.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
- Experience in retail pharmacy is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Valid CPR certification or basic life support training.
- Immunization certification in accordance with state regulations.
- Strong understanding of inventory control and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in English communication as it pertains to safety regulations.
