Job Overview

REQUIRED: A MINIMUM OF 6 MONTHS OF RECENT EXPERIENCE IN SANITATION WITHIN A HIGH-VOLUME SETTING

Connect Staffing, Inc. is seeking skilled Sanitation Technicians to join our team for a prominent cookie manufacturing facility.

Work Schedule: 1st shift – 5-6 days per week. Days may vary. Shifts range from 8 to 12 hours, typically starting at 6 AM, but may shift to 4:00 AM.

Qualifications for a Sanitation Technician:

  • At least 6 months of recent sanitation experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong communication skills are essential; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Collaborative team player, able to work well with colleagues in a shared workspace.
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends and extended hours as needed, particularly during preparation for formal inspections.
  • Familiarity with sanitation equipment such as forklifts, floor scrubbers, and foamers is advantageous.
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Key Responsibilities of the Sanitation Technician:

  • Perform cleaning and sanitization of production equipment and lines during product transitions.
  • Engage in general cleaning and maintenance of production areas, including detailed cleaning of idle machinery, drains, and exterior surfaces.
  • Collect waste from various locations and dispose of it in designated containers.
  • Consistently wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for each assigned task.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of equipment and workspaces throughout the facility.
  • Clean office spaces, break rooms, and locker areas.
  • Be prepared for mandatory overtime as required.

We are also looking for candidates for roles in warehouse operations, forklift operation, sanitation, and general labor.
