About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cable Installation Specialist to join our team at NSC Technologies. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for installing, terminating, and testing various types of voice and data cables, as well as security/access control equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pulling and routing CAT5, CAT6, and Fiber cable in new construction and existing structure commercial environments
  • Terminating data jacks and installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)
  • Job site is a secured facility, and you must be comfortable working from scissor/boom lifts if required
  • Pulling, routing, installing, and terminating structured cabling infrastructure in a commercial environment
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience installing and servicing voice and data systems in a commercial environment
  • Ownership of basic telecom tools: punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, hard hat, boots, safety glasses, etc.
  • Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC Standards
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and provide two professional references
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
