Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Specialist III to join our team at Chenega MIOS SBU.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting acquisition activities for Air Force Special Access Programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Contracting Officer in planning and managing acquisitions for various products and services.
  • Lead cradle-to-grave contract activities, including market research, solicitation documentation, proposal reviews, cost/price evaluations, and contract administration.
  • Participate in program reviews to assess alignment with acquisition strategy and program plan.
  • Define acquisition objectives to meet planned milestones and work with the Contracting Officer to develop acquisition strategies.
  • Assist in the oversight of contract performance and lead risk identification and mitigation efforts.
  • Communicate project status and issues, and develop acquisition and policy recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Master of Arts/Master of Science/Master of Engineering (MA/MS/ME) degree.
  • 10+ years of relevant DoD/IC or relevant industry work experience, with no less than 2+ years of experience in an SAP and/or SCI environment, with at least 1 year of that total being within the past 5 years.
  • Proficient in Conwrite, preferred.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required, with the ability to complete a Government Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CI Poly).
