Job Summary


Gulfstream Strategic Placements seeks a highly skilled Mechanical Foreman/Special Projects Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Riverside, CA. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history, extensive experience in hands-on fieldwork, and project management within the commercial HVAC industry.


Key Responsibilities


  • Project Management: Manage and oversee mechanical projects, including scheduling, budget management, and change orders.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with building owners, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise field teams, including pipefitters, sheet metal installers, and HVAC technicians.
  • Special Projects: Assist in the planning and executing of special projects, providing hands-on field support when necessary.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the project management team to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
  • Documentation: Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and progress updates.


Qualifications


  • Local Candidate: Local candidate with a stable work history in the Riverside, CA area.
  • Field Experience: Prior experience in the field as a sheet metal installer, pipe fitter, or similar hands-on role.
  • Commercial HVAC Experience: Experience in commercial HVAC service, working on piping systems and applied mechanical equipment such as chillers.
  • Project Management Experience: Proven experience in project management, overseeing projects from start to finish, including scheduling, change orders, and client communication.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and coordinate field teams effectively.
  • Mechanical Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical systems, piping, and HVAC applications.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project goals.
