Technology Solutions Architect

At American Chemical Society, we are seeking a highly skilled Technology Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Publications Division, you will play a critical role in developing strategies and reference architecture for software engineering teams.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement software engineering strategies and reference architecture for the Publications Division.
- Collaborate with IT staff and peers to ensure successful product and policy rollout.
- Provide leadership in the research and development of new products using cutting-edge technologies, including Artificial Intelligence.
- Develop and maintain application standards, best practices, and patterns.
- Design and plan on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
- Participate in enterprise architectural board (EAB) and other cross-functional technology architecture groups.
- Oversee and approve the creation of architecture documentation.
- Mentor less experienced architecture staff.
- Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of architecture, enterprise architecture, and application design patterns.
- Ability to gain knowledge of new technologies and conduct proof of concepts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
