Analyst II for Category Strategies

Position Overview:
As a vital member of the Hannaford Supermarkets team, the Analyst II for Category Strategies plays a crucial role in supporting the Category Manager in achieving departmental objectives through effective vendor relationship management, data analysis, and strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with Category Merchandising & Pricing teams to drive departmental initiatives.
2. Conduct comprehensive analysis for evaluated categories to support Brand strategies.
3. Assist in optimizing shelf presentation, assortment decisions, cost negotiations, promotional planning, and product development.
4. Ensure promotional plans are crafted to enhance margins while adhering to defined category strategies.
5. Validate vendor-submitted deals for accuracy and assist in tracking budget data.
6. Support the Category Manager in executing seamless Category Reviews.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills Required:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Effective management of daily responsibilities.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $63,000 to $95,100.
