Primary Responsibilities: Welcomes and assists guests in the dining space.
  • Key Duties and Responsibilities: This overview of responsibilities does not encompass the minor functions of this role, which are incidental to the execution of core job duties.     1. Delivers exceptional guest service to both internal and external patrons, embodying the #AddLife culture in all interactions.
    2. Cultivates a supportive and motivating atmosphere for Team Members.
    3. Addresses issues within the scope of authority and suggests solutions for matters beyond this scope to the supervisor.
    4. Maintains confidentiality of all sensitive information in line with established protocols and regulations.
    5. Welcomes guests and assigns seating based on their preferences.
    6. Withdraws cash from the Main Bank and prepares the cash drawer before the shift (must be ready 10 minutes prior to scheduled time).
    7. Checks cashier supplies such as register tape and settlement sheets prior to each shift to ensure adequacy for the shift.
    8. Greets each guest upon arrival; processes cash, credit cards, or comps as payment.
    9. Ensures precision in calculating bills on the cash register; provides correct change and issues receipts.
    10. Closes the register at the end of each shift, including counting the drawer and completing necessary paperwork.
    11. Returns cash to the main bank and leaves a copy of the shift checkout in the designated area.
    12. Ensures assigned section is prepared for service before the shift begins.
    13. Adheres to quality service standards; implements cost control measures (e.g., napkins, condiments, etc.).
    14. Follows established policies and procedures regarding customer service standards.
    15. Completes all assigned side work before concluding the shift.
    16. Keeps the position supervisor informed of relevant activities.
    17. Performs other duties as assigned.

    Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities: In addition to the other duties outlined, each Team Member has the following compliance responsibilities:

    • Attend mandatory training sessions provided by the Company.

    • Obtain and maintain required licenses.

    • Execute duties in accordance with local laws and regulations.

    • Ensure minors are not permitted to gamble or linger in gambling areas, consume alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.

    • Be knowledgeable about the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relevant to the Team Member's department.

    • Understand the Property's programs addressing problem gaming.

    • Report any observed misconduct.

    Position Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
    Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Virginia Racing Commission License, Serv-Safe.
