Seeking highly skilled and experienced Telecommunications Field Engineers to join our team at Primoris Services Corporation in Phoenix, AZ.

About the Role

We are looking for individuals with strong technical expertise in building, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications infrastructure. As a Telecommunications Field Engineer, you will be responsible for performing technical functions related to building, maintaining, or repairing the RF (coaxial cable) plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Built and configured 90v AC plant powering, backup battery systems, and carrier small cell radios.
  • Participated in carrier small cell on-call rotation.
Requirements
  • Must possess a valid AZ driver's license with a clean record.
  • Requires the ability to lift 70 lbs.
  • Competent in critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Comfortable using Excel and Adobe software.
  • Requires attention to detail while following documented instruction.
  • Complete commitment to quality while following industry-accepted standards and practices.
  • Safely uses basic hand tools, volt meters, and other testers.
  • Basic understanding of radio frequency (RF) theory.
  • Familiar with RF design symbology and design maps.
  • Understanding of OSP parts and functionality.
  • Capability to assemble and integrate ISP & OSP coax locations.
  • Accustomed to building new and repairing existing coax plant.
  • Qualified to tie and activate new plant.
  • Basic knowledge of system powering; both AC & DC power supplies.
  • Proficient in use of RF signal meter and volt ohm meter as troubleshooting tools.
  • Performs OSP upgrades to forward & return paths.
  • Skilled in doing rough balance of active plant.
  • Proven ability to perform retrofit & maintenance window activities.
  • Efficiently troubleshoot RF & powering issues.
  • Skilled at integrating customer plant and signal into 3rd party channel insertions systems.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $22-$35 per hour, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
