Assistant Store Manager Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Spencer Gifts - Spirit Halloween. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in establishing and maintaining exceptional Guest Services, while supporting the Store Manager in various tasks to ensure maximum sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and profitability
  • Lead and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve sales and customer service goals
  • Manage inventory control, merchandising, and visual displays to maximize sales and minimize shrinkage
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives and implement company policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols

Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Prior retail and management experience required
  • Ability to work in excess of 8 hours standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds
