Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to schedule materials and components for our production floor, ensuring smooth operations. As a key member of our team, you will manage inventory, collaborate with the master scheduler, and coordinate with departments to prioritize tasks and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule materials and components for production to meet customer demand.
- Communicate and coordinate with departmental personnel to establish priority functions of the labor force.
- Maintain a continuing inventory of all materials and completed products.
- Participate in cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
- Five (5) years' minimum experience scheduling/planning materials in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of MRP in AS400.
- Excellent math skills and analytical skills.
Working Conditions:
This position will work 1st shift (5 am to 1:30 pm).
