At CTTX Health, we prioritize high-quality healthcare delivery and foster a collaborative work atmosphere. As an L&D nurse, your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating and monitoring patients during labor and delivery.
  • Assisting in various delivery methods, including both vaginal and cesarean sections.
  • Administering medications and overseeing pain management strategies.
  • Tracking and documenting vital signs for both mother and infant.
  • Offering emotional support and educational resources to patients and their families.
  • Working closely with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Complying with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
  • Maintaining precise and thorough medical documentation.
  • Providing care during the postpartum period and supporting breastfeeding initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
  • 1-2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing preferred.
  • Valid BLS and NRP certifications.
  • In-depth knowledge of childbirth processes and techniques.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
