Job Title: Systems Control Technician

At Solventum, we are seeking a skilled Systems Control Technician to join our team in Flemington, NJ. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, implementing automated system upgrades, and determining best practices for systems control.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment such as AC/DC drives and motors, programmable logic controllers, robotics, process controllers, stepper & servo motors, fire protection equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic devices, and plant support equipment.
  • Implement automated system upgrades and improvements.
  • Determine best practices that comply with all corporate, plant, and department safety rules for systems control.
  • Support engineering, production, and maintenance of production, converting, assembly, and packaging equipment; troubleshoot, preventative maintenance, installation, and start-up of new equipment.
  • Create an environment that supports all departments in the attainment of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree or higher AND a minimum of two (2) years of technical experience.
  • Ability to work 2nd and/or 3rd Shift: 2nd Shift: M-F; 3pm - 11pm, 3rd Shift: M-F; 11pm - 7am.
  • Ability to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, or Robotics and Automation, or Engineering Technology.
  • Experience with Automation Controls and Robotics.
  • Experience with reliability analysis, predictive (PdM), and preventative maintenance (PM).
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Possess excellent documentation skills.
  • Excellent technical communication skills, both written and oral to a diverse audience.

Onsite - 500 US Highway 202, Flemington, NJ 08822.
