Position Title: Production Kit Builder
The Automated Kit Production sector is responsible for assembling kits utilized in clinical research, sample collection, and testing. The role involves standing for extended periods, particularly during the initial training phase of 2-3 weeks. Each builder operates within a designated area equipped with a computer interface and numerous small bins. The system directs the builder to the correct bin using visual indicators, facilitating the selection and packaging of items into boxes. Upon completion, the boxes are labeled accurately and placed onto a conveyor system for shipping. In some instances, manual handling may be required for transporting finished kits.
Another aspect of the role includes working with a rotating wall of bins, which presents the next required item for packing. Builders will pick and assemble orders based on this automated system.
Once fully trained, employees will rotate through various tasks every three hours, which may include both standing and seated positions. While the job is straightforward, it demands a high level of attention to detail. Candidates are permitted to use headphones in designated areas to enhance focus.
Essential Skills- Experience in packing and assembly
- Knowledge of healthcare kit production
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a standing position for long durations
This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity.
Work EnvironmentThis role is conducted entirely on-site. The shift operates from 6 PM to 6 AM on a rotating schedule, including breaks. The workspace is organized and clean, resembling a production facility with a controlled temperature environment. Candidates are required to adhere to specific dress codes for safety and hygiene.
Personal electronic devices are restricted during work hours, and adherence to company policies is mandatory.
