We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dialysis Technician to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care North America. As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate hemodialysis machines to ensure accurate and efficient treatment.
- Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
- Provide patient education and support, including training on online clearance monitoring, adequacy monitoring, and disease process/access.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care and treatment.
- Document patient information and treatment data accurately and timely.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must meet Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS)-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
