Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and supervision to operational staff during assigned shifts
  • Deescalate on-site crises and conflicts by providing problem-solving and conflict resolution to clients
  • Monitor access control systems and ensure coordination between program assistants, security, and maintenance staff
  • Ensure daily operations, including meal service, front desk reception, and programming, are conducted in a client-centered and effective manner
  • Handle administrative, programmatic, and operational assignments, including database reporting and entry
  • Support clients with the shelter intake process and provide excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with the Shelter team to assess and maintain operations service goals and priorities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, or a related field
  • Relevant experience in homelessness services, behavioral health, or residential support
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work a non-traditional full-time schedule, including evenings and weekends
