Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hose Assembler to join our team at Parker Hannifin Corporation's Parflex Division in Stafford, TX. As a Hose Assembler, you will play a critical role in manufacturing Parker tubing, utilizing your hands and machines to produce high-quality products in a safe and sustainable manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform setup and operation of special purpose hose assembly machines, selecting and positioning size dies, check jaws, blocks, and special holding devices.
  • Assemble and test hose configurations to product specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards.
  • Inspect and test each product produced to ensure quality standards are met, recording test results on data forms.
  • Insert plastic caps on each end of hose to protect end fitting threads.
  • Interpret engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer sales order sheets, quality directives, and record data on applicable forms with signatures as needed.
  • Engage in business/team meetings when necessary and assist with problem-solving efforts to improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain work area in clean and orderly fashion, following 5S practices, and know and practice all safety regulations and quality guidelines.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, recognizing International Diplomas (may need to be translated to English).
  • U.S. citizen or permanent residency status required.
  • At least two years of assembly experience required in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to operate material handling vehicles (forklift), have good numeric, writing, and reading ability, and be able to respond to the needs of the operating departments.
  • Ability to work and communicate with peers, adapt to production needs to satisfy customer demands.
