BASIC PURPOSE:
To prepare all beverages according to guest requests promptly while upholding Four Seasons service standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Craft both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per guest orders, ensuring consistent quality by adhering to recipe guidelines and presentation standards.
  • Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products offered at the bar, including liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs, and specialty drinks, ensuring proper preparation and presentation.
  • Complete daily requisitions, receive, verify, and store all liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, and food items for the bar area. Ensure the bar is fully stocked with all necessary glassware, silverware, napkins, straws, etc.
  • Recognize and manage potentially intoxicated, disruptive, or undesirable guests, involving management and/or security when necessary.
  • Assist in the arrangement of linen, china, glassware, silver, and decorative elements for each function according to the banquet event order.
  • Break down, clean, and set up tables, buffets, and food stations.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient reading, writing, and verbal communication skills in English.
  • One to two years of experience in bartending and/or related food and beverage service.
  • Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks.
