Job Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders in a school district located in Lewiston.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address individual student needs.
  • Deliver therapy services to students in both one-on-one and group settings, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with the education team to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring students receive targeted support.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Speech and Communicative Disorders
  • Active Maine SLP license
  • Experience working with children in a school setting, demonstrating expertise in adapting therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience
