Housekeeper Responsibilities:
- Execute cleaning tasks according to a defined schedule in designated areas, including resident apartments, communal spaces, and administrative offices.
- Perform sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming of floors, carpets, and rugs, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene.
- Sanitize and polish restroom fixtures and amenities, restocking supplies as needed.
- Scrub tiles, woodwork, and window frames to maintain a pristine environment.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organized and sanitary manner.
- Collect and dispose of waste from work areas in accordance with established protocols.
- Manage community laundry services, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness.
- Ensure that cleaning agents are securely stored when not in use.
- Maintain a safe work environment by keeping pathways clear and adhering to safety regulations.
- Report maintenance needs and supply shortages to the Lead Housekeeper.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role is advantageous.
- Effective communication skills, particularly in the primary language of residents.
- Ability to read and understand safety guidelines and operational manuals.
- A genuine interest in working with the senior community.
- Demonstrated courteous and friendly interaction with residents, guests, and staff.
- Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting, and moving objects of varying weights.
