Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Caregiver for Adults with Disabilities to join our team at the Institute for Community Living. As a caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.

About the Position

  • You will work closely with residents, helping them develop daily living skills, participate in activities, and maintain a comfortable living environment.
  • Assist individuals with personal care, hygiene, and meal preparation, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring comprehensive support and services.

Requirements and Compensation

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, or a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Certificate from an accredited organization.
  • An ability to work collaboratively with others, prioritizing the needs of our residents.
  • An estimated annual salary of $50,000 - $60,000, dependent on location and experience.
