POSITION SUMMARY

  • Generates additional revenue for the dealership by promoting finance and insurance solutions, as well as other relevant after-sale products to both new and pre-owned vehicle clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivers comprehensive explanations of aftermarket offerings and extended warranty options to customers.
  • Facilitates the conversion of cash transactions into financing agreements.
  • Establishes and nurtures strong relationships with various financial institutions, including manufacturers.
  • Accurately processes finance and lease transactions through financial sources to obtain necessary approvals.
  • Conducts business with integrity and professionalism.
  • Handles all federal, state, and dealership documentation related to vehicle transactions.
  • Comprehends and adheres to federal, state, and local regulations impacting the finance and vehicle departments.
  • Completes necessary paperwork for vehicle sales and leases promptly and efficiently.
  • Reviews all documentation for accuracy regarding titles, lien details, taxes, etc., before submission to accounting.
  • Maintains an up-to-date state insurance license, fulfilling continuing education requirements as necessary.
  • Informs customers about manufacturer and dealership service protocols and policies.
  • Continuously seeks new lending partners to secure competitive interest rates and financing options.
  • Provides the sales team and management with ongoing updates about finance and lease offerings.
  • Educates the sales staff on the advantages of financing, insurance, and extended service plans.
  • Collaborates with sales managers to optimize the sales process.
  • Aligns finance forecasting with sales projections to achieve targeted penetration and revenue goals.
  • Ensures the collection of all finance and insurance fees.
  • Prepares reports detailing finance penetration metrics.
  • Works closely with the general sales manager to set and achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Develops and oversees guidelines for customer interactions to ensure maximum satisfaction.
  • Supervises and trains designated backups to maintain efficiency and profitability in the absence of the F&I manager.
  • Maintains an adequate supply of all necessary contracts and documentation for finalizing vehicle transactions.
  • Upholds a professional appearance at all times.
  • Ensures a clean and professional workspace.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES

  • Executes supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Mirak's policies and applicable regulations.
    This may include training staff, directing work, and addressing concerns or resolving issues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
