Qualifications:

Educational Background:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.

Additional Requirements:

  • Proficiency in standard equipment necessary for fulfilling the essential functions of the role.

Skills and Expertise:
Required English Skills: Advanced reading, writing, and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals. Must maintain confidentiality and communicate factual information appropriately. Professional demeanor is essential.

Computer Skills: Intermediate proficiency in relevant software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the development of the operational plan for Carle Health, ensuring timely and accurate involvement from administration and directors across all affiliates. Maintain the Strata Jazz Budget System and collaborate with executive management to establish benchmarks for operational and staffing expenses. Provide guidance and technical support to directors in completing and documenting plan requests, and analyze these requests for presentation to executive management.
  • Coordinate the collection of statistical, financial, and labor hour data, analyzing significant variances from actual to planned figures. Distribute results through meaningful reports in a timely manner. Produce monthly statistical reports and provide explanations for salary and other variances included in financial statements. Offer hospital departments analysis and statistical benchmarks while maintaining an up-to-date FTE plan.
  • Evaluate staffing efficiency and expense utilization by adjusting the fixed plan based on actual outcomes, reporting results through various meaningful reports promptly. Manage the Visionware productivity system and provide labor productivity data on a daily, biweekly, and monthly basis. Generate flex plan data sets for monthly reporting and prepare special reports and analyses for executive management to clarify variances and trends.
  • Complete the annual long-range financial plan and fulfill various internal and external requests for financial information accurately and promptly. Produce annual updates to the five-year plan in alignment with strategic objectives and input from administration. Complete necessary surveys and submit relevant statistics as required.
