We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Projects Supervisor to join our team at St. Catherine University. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the Facilities Management, Environmental Safety, and Compliance in three areas of Facility and Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage people, processes, and systems that support Work Orders and Fleet Services.
  • Coordinate move management and planning.
  • Oversee space management.
  • Responsible for facilities management, mobile device, and IT support for department and trades teams.
  • Coordinate access, scheduling, and QA for facilities department vendors.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complicated and interdisciplinary facility problems.
  • Responsible for campus-wide vehicle fleet services (30+ vehicles of varying types): vehicle registration, planned and unplanned vehicle maintenance, coordination of routine vehicle inspections, long-term asset management planning.
  • Assist in small facilities and construction projects that require coordination between our in-house trades, internal partner projects like Classroom Services, and external vendors.
  • Support a variety of FM planning and analysis activities to support the 20-year facility strategic plan.
  • Perform utilities metering, analysis, and reporting.
  • Track facility and space data for various financial, operational, and planning efforts.

Requirements
  • Higher Education work experience.
  • Experience with Facilities Management work order systems.
  • Excellent written communication and organization skills.
  • Proven ability to deal with difficult personalities and situations with tact and maturity.
  • Knowledge of trades work and construction project management.
  • Willingness to learn new software, as required to serve the role (facilities asset management tools, spreadsheet, and project management tools, regulatory tools, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with St. Catherine University campus.
  • Experience with Service Now work order system.
  • Space or facilities planning experience.
  • CAD/REVIT knowledge.
  • Familiarity with construction job sites.
  • Knowledge of OSHA/Fire/Life Safety regulations.
