Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to join our team at Sutter Health. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, including setup and breakdown of equipment and supplies.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Assist in the transportation of patients to and from the operating room, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Participate in the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information and surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Surgical Technician program or equivalent education, experience, or training.
  • Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
  • Minimum 6 months of current experience in a multispecialty inpatient or outpatient surgery department.
