Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic with Excellent Compensation

At Pape' Kenworth, we're seeking a skilled Journeyman Truck Technician/ Mechanic to join our team in Klamath Falls, OR.
We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
About the RoleAs a Journeyman Truck Technician, you will work on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks in our shop, ensuring accurate and timely repairs to support our customers and maximize their uptime. You will be responsible for complicated repairs, direct the work of other technicians/mechanics, and may lead the shift in the Foreman's absence.
Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working on all makes and models of medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks, including electronic trouble-shooting, HVAC systems, and chassis repair. They will also possess basic computer knowledge, a Class B CDL or ability to obtain one, self-motivation, assertiveness, and excellent communication and customer relations skills.
