We are seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the role of an adjunct faculty member in the field of Criminal Justice. This position involves preparing and delivering engaging coursework that aligns with the institution's core values and educational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver courses in accordance with the established schedule and adhere to the approved syllabi set forth by the academic division.
- Teaching assignments may occur across various campuses or off-site locations, including evening and weekend classes.
- Potentially teach Dual Credit courses.
Additional Duties:
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
- Uphold all duties and standards in alignment with institutional policies and core values.
Work Environment:
This role primarily involves sedentary work, requiring minimal physical exertion. Responsibilities include sitting for extended periods, with occasional requirements for talking, hearing, and visual engagement. The position is typically free from unpleasant environmental conditions.
Qualifications:
A Master's Degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in the relevant discipline is required. Previous teaching experience is preferred.
