Position Overview
The Beverage Service Specialist is tasked with delivering exceptional alcoholic beverage and food service to guests, ensuring efficiency, courtesy, and professionalism while upholding a high standard of guest satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivers prompt, efficient, and courteous service to patrons at the bar, accurately entering food and drink orders into the point-of-sale system.
- Continuously monitors guest needs, ensuring the quality and accuracy of served orders.
- Maintains comprehensive knowledge of all menu offerings, particularly mixed drinks, providing suggestions and assistance to guests as required.
- Ensures cleanliness and organization of bar areas and service stations.
- Assists in the maintenance, supply management, and rotation of the liquor storage area.
- Safeguards company assets and accurately balances assigned cash drawers.
- Reports guest concerns, complaints, or suggestions to management, striving to enhance guest service.
- Completes all assigned side duties, ensuring that stations are well-stocked for the next shift.
- Exhibits exceptional guest service through a positive attitude when interacting with guests and fellow team members.
- Adheres to all gaming regulations regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages.
- Follows health and personal hygiene policies set forth by the food and beverage department.
- Performs other duties as directed by management.
Team members may encounter secondhand tobacco smoke, particularly those working in gaming areas. The noise level in the workplace is typically moderate but can occasionally become high for brief periods.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be capable of sitting, standing, and/or walking for up to 8 hours.
- Must frequently carry, reach, twist, bend, and squat.
- Regularly lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 100 pounds with assistance as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum age requirement for this position is 21 years.
- At least 6 months of experience in a fast-paced bartending environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess or obtain a Food Handlers Card/OLCC License within 30 days of employment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Must comply with pre-employment, random, and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
- Must receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the appropriate regulatory authority.
- Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on departmental needs and special events.
$14.70 per hour / DOE
