Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated PCBA Production Manager to oversee the production process of our complex satellite systems. This role will entail managing the entire production lifecycle, from new product introduction to full-scale production, to ensure the quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement efficient production processes and workflows to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure design integrity, product quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to drive process development and validation on new models, ensuring aggressive timelines are met.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for yield, performance, and cost.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure cost-effective production processes.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure product reliability and quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering, math, or science discipline.
  • Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of experience with SMT and/or PCBA assembly equipment and processes.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations for design and manufacturing readiness reviews.
  • Experience with design for manufacture and design for test methodologies.
  • Working proficiency with DFMEA and PFMEA methodology and implementation.
  • SPC knowledge and experience applying statistical methods to track process capability.
