Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Manager

At SpaceX, we are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead our Starlink PCBA manufacturing team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and continuously improving our high-volume Starlink Product SMT lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead manufacturing engineering efforts to design and build high-volume production lines
  • Ensure all PCBA production and test processes meet the highest levels of safety, quality, and rate
  • Manage a team of engineers and specialists to achieve production goals
  • Develop and implement plug-and-play processes to production that are capable of high-volume throughput
  • Act as the technical decision maker and advisor to the team on manufacturing techniques and test methods

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree and 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field
  • 2+ years of direct leadership/management experience leading engineers
  • Experience with design and manufacturing of high-reliability electronics assemblies
  • Strong working knowledge of EEE piece parts, PCB, PCBA, lamination, electromechanical, test
