Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to support our Project Management Department and coordinate construction activities for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, construction science, or a related field, and excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project management and coordinate construction activities
  • Implement, manage, and administer construction processes
  • Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimates
  • Inspect quality of work and safety compliance
  • Support project manager with onsite control of field works
  • Prepare labor schedules and order materials
  • Propose change orders and perform cost control
  • Recommend solutions to design changes
  • Manage subcontractor scope of work

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction science, or equivalent
  • Zero to two years of experience in similar construction projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in highway or road construction is recommended
  • Ability to influence and lead the assignment of others
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
