Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Interior Design Specialist to join our Interior Merchandising team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Studio Director to create stunning interior spaces for our clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in bringing our design concepts to life, from conceptualization to installation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Development: Collaborate with our team to develop design programs that meet client requirements, including budgets, design styles, and operational needs.
  • Conceptualization: Work with our design team to create conceptual imagery, schematic schemes, and preliminary material selections that align with our design vision.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with our purchasing team to ensure timely completion of tasks, adhering to key deliverables and deadlines.
  • Reporting and Communication: Maintain internal reporting systems, including time sheets and project files, and provide weekly project report updates to our Studio Director.
  • Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product updates through ongoing education and training.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to a team effort from conceptualization to installation, working on multiple projects in various stages under the guidance of our Studio Director.
  • Design Presentations: Create clear and organized design presentations that showcase our design concepts and meet client expectations.
  • Client Communication: Attend client meetings and site visits, creating punch lists as needed, and ensuring that our design solutions meet client needs.
  • FF&E Selection: Make initial selections for furniture, soft goods, art, plants, outdoor furniture, and accessories, and finalize selections based on client feedback and design requirements.
  • Installation Coordination: Collaborate with fabricators, sending measurements and specifications, acquiring quotes, and scheduling installations.
  • Documentation and Administration: Revise and prepare documentation for execution of approved design concepts, ensuring that all follow our presentation standards.
  • Procurement and Logistics: Assist in tasks related to the procurement process, including writing FF&E specifications and coordinating with vendors.
  • Project Close-Out: Assist in project completion close-out, finalizing documentation, generating inventory books, and providing ease of future reference to projects in electronic filings.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum AA in Interior Design; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in interior design.
  • Travel: Ability to travel 25% of the time, including out-of-state travel and travel within Colorado.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiencies: AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Suite, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign.
  • Preferred Proficiencies: Illustrator, SketchUp.
  • Knowledge: Design Smart & QuickBooks a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, an exceptional benefit package, and support for continuing education and professional development. This is a full-time, salaried position. The target starting pay range for this role will be: $50,000- $65,000, based on experience level. Our benefits package includes:
