Pediatric Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Psychologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a Pediatric Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing psychological testing, counseling, and evaluations to children and adolescents. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
Responsibilities:- Administer, score, and interpret psychometric and projective tests to assess cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
- Conduct initial interviews with patients and their families to gather information and develop a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to children and adolescents, as well as family therapy sessions to support parents and caregivers.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient interactions, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and services provided.
- Doctorate degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Two or more years of post-graduate experience in a behavioral health setting, or a pre-doctoral internship, post-doctoral internship, or fellowship at Kaiser Permanente.
- Current licensure as a Psychologist in the state of California.
- Internship in an APA-approved program.
