About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative Lead to join our team in Fridley, MN. As a key member of our registration team, you will be responsible for greeting and welcoming patients, collecting demographic and insurance information, and ensuring a seamless registration process.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients in person, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Collect and enter patient demographic and insurance information into electronic medical records.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits information, resolving any discrepancies or errors.
  • Direct patients to their appointments or procedures, ensuring timely and efficient care.
  • May assist with scheduling add-on appointments and communicating with patients about upcoming events.
  • Document all interactions and issues in electronic medical records.
  • Resolve claim issues and registration errors on patient accounts, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Use resources, tools, and procedures to complete registration for complex accounts, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with leaders to ensure team operations are staffed and working effectively, coordinating workflow among employees.
  • Exhibit behaviors consistent with leadership roles, mentoring and guiding colleagues as needed.
  • Participate in quality audits, ensuring adherence to department guidelines and standards.
  • Support the orientation and training of new employees, providing feedback and guidance to leaders.

What You'll Need:

  • 2+ years of revenue cycle experience in a healthcare setting, with expertise in electronic medical records.
  • Strong customer service skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work 2:30pm-11:00pm, Monday-Friday, with standard daytime hours for the first 3-4 weeks upon hire.
  • 18 years or older, with high school diploma or equivalent required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Epic Experience, with knowledge of electronic medical records systems.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is $63,500 - $73,500 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to your base salary, you will receive a generous benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan with company match.
